About Me
I’m a UKCP and BACP accredited humanistic psychotherapist, and I specialise in supporting musicians, actors, and arts professionals.
With over 20 years of experience as a freelance opera singer, I bring a deep, personal understanding of the unique challenges creatives face. My life on stage—with leading orchestras and in a range of operatic and musical theatre roles—has shaped how I relate to the emotional and psychological demands of an artistic life.
My background in music is more than a professional credential—it’s the foundation of my empathy and insight. I know what it feels like to stand out in a world that often favours sameness, and I’ve learned to turn that experience into strength and resilience. This perspective informs the way I work, helping clients reframe challenges into opportunities for growth and fulfillment.
Clients often tell me that working with me feels like looking into a mirror but with a twist. They begin to see parts of themselves they hadn’t noticed before. I work with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-doubt, creative blocks, and navigating complex relationships, both personal and professional.
Alongside my private practice, I’ve also worked as a wellbeing counsellor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, supporting young performers as they balance vulnerability and ambition. I’m passionate about helping people care for their emotional wellbeing as the foundation of both artistic success and inner clarity.
Whether you’re navigating the pressures of performance or simply looking for a more grounded relationship with yourself, I offer a space where your story is seen, heard, and honoured.
